Day 1: Santa Monica and Venice Beach
Morning:
Breakfast at Santa Monica: Enjoy a meal like a local at Urth Caffé in Santa Monica.
Drive to Malibu: Visit Surfrider Beach for some wave-watching or Zuma Beach
Afternoon:
Bike Ride to Venice Beach: Explore the boardwalk, see Muscle Beach, and visit the Venice Canals. Rent bikes and cycle along the beach. Try local eateries for lunch with a view.
Abbot Kinney Boulevard: Walk this trendy street for shopping, unique art galleries, and a more upscale vibe.
Evening:
Visit Santa Monica Pier: Ride the Ferris wheel, play arcade games, and hand out and walk along the beach.
Enjoy the 3rd Street Promenade.
Watch the sunset over the Pacific Ocean.

Day 2: Hollywood
Morning:
Hike to the Hollywood Sign: Start with a hike up to the Hollywood Sign via Brush Canyon Trail for some epic views and great pix.

Afternoon:
Lunch at the Original Farmer's Market: A great spot for diverse culinary experiences and a relaxed atmosphere.
Check out The Grove.
Evening:
Hollywood Walk of Fame: Walk the stars, visit the TCL Chinese Theatre for the handprints and footprints, and maybe catch a movie at El Capitan Theatre.
Day 3: Westwood and Beverly Hills
Morning:
Check out Westwood and the UCLA campus. Westwood has the best Persian food on the West Coast.

Afternoon:
Explore Beverly Hills: Walk along the world-famous Rodeo Drive, take pictures at the Beverly Hills sign, and indulge in some luxury window shopping.

Evening:
Koreatown: End your day with a cultural dining experience including BBQ and K-Pop
or Little Tokyo: has sushi, ramen, and cultural exploration.
Day 4:
Universal Studios Hollywood:
All Day:

Spend the day here, especially if the family loves movies and thrill rides. Get there before the opening. Start with the furthest Super Nintendo World. Make the way to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and an amazing Studio Tour for behind-the-scenes movie magic, The Simpsons Ride in Springfield, Jurassic World, Super Silly Fun Land, and more.
Enjoy dinner at Universal CityWalk

Day 5:
Morning:
Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County: one of the oldest museums in LA, it's renowned for its Dinosaur Hall.
La Brea Tar Pits, one of the world's most famous fossil sites.

Afternoon:
Griffith Park: Visit the Los Angeles Zoo or explore the many trails for a more active morning.
Evening:
Visit Griffith Observatory: Explore the exhibits, enjoy the planetarium show, and soak up the views of LA and explore the night sky.

Disneyland: The happiest place on Earth!

The California Science Center for a fun learning experience, including seeing the Space Shuttle Endeavour,
Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), the largest art museum on the west coast,
Visit The Getty Villa for ancient art.
Enjoy the Getty Center for art and gardens.
Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens: A serene place for families to explore art, literature, and nature.

Universal CityWalk: If not visiting Universal Studios the next day, spend time at CityWalk for dinner, shopping, and entertainment.
Six Flags Magic Mountain: A day full of thrill rides. It's a bit of a drive but worth it for roller coaster enthusiasts.
Academy Museum of Motion Pictures: Dedicated to the art, history and science of filmmaking,
GRAMMY Museum: for the history and winners of the Grammy Awards.
Grand Central Market: Start with breakfast here, known for its variety of food stalls.
Ride Angels Flight: Experience this historic railway.
Arts District: Explore the street art, the galleries, and perhaps visit The Broad or MOCA for contemporary art.
